OGDEN CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT, UTAH
CHRIS POTERACKI, PATROL OFFICER
I work for the Ogden City Police Department, currently working patrol on the night shift. The average temperature outside during my field testing this product was between 7 degrees and 34 degrees. The average wind ranged from 0 to 14 mph.
I was issued a pair of Wind stopper base layer clothes (size large) to field test. I have been using this product for approximately three weeks.
I have zero complaints or improvements regarding the bottoms. This product fit me well underneath my uniform pants and did not inhibit my movement at all. The pants provided comfort and kept me warm during routine report calls, foot patrols, and standing on containments.
The top layer also fit very well underneath my uniform and did not inhibit my movements or routine activities at all.
The only improvement I could make to the top layer would be some adjustability around the wrist. Being a person who works out with weights I have a slightly larger wrist and forearm than some others. I found the tightness around the wrist to be restrictive and became slightly uncomfortable after a few hours of working.
For the majority of this field test I wore the bottoms only. They provided me enough body heat to keep me warm. When both tops and bottoms were worn it actually becomes too warm for the temperatures I was working in.
Over all I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to others.
