George Weiss attended the meeting of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the FBINAA in Gettysburg, Virginia, April 21 and 22. It seems he has discovered a new family in Pennsylvania. They had some great speakers. We also had some very intense interest in our jackets. We got to meet the incoming President of the FBINAA. Laurie Cahill of Ocean County Sheriffs Office. One of the training sessions was by Amy Herman who taught the "art of perception". Never did a three hour training session go by so fast. The conference was held in historical Gettysburg. We had some of free time to see some of the historical sites, even from horseback!Again, the comments about the new concept in our jackets meeting an age-old problem of comfort and protection from the weather with out the bulk and the ability to put it on and leave it on was well received. The folks in attendance were the lead coordinators of the 2014 National Academy annual conference in Philadelphia.
